The current openthinclient-0.4.0 downloadable release should work on any WINDOWS/LINUX/UNIX/POSIX operating systems with Java 6 installed. A Sun Java 6 (JRE or SDK) is available here. If the above stated link does take forever you can download this release here as well.

You can start the shiny new installer by double klicking the jar file or executing the following command line as administrator or root user:

Please have at least a glimpse at the Prerequisites and openThinClient manager pages before installation.

Don't be alarmed by some funny software characteristics: This early open source release still includes some known issues and bugs of a more or less serious kind ;-). Have a look at the issue tracker where all open bugs are listed and a road map is availible.
