Functional principle

The functional principle from openthinclient.org is based on central management and central boot-architecture.
Booting the ThinClients without any local storage is possible via DHCP and PXE (Preboot eXecution Environment).

This solution supports hardware of a wide range of manufacturers, due to the open architecture of the openthinclient operating system. All ThinClients can be centrally managed using the openthinclient Manager.

The ThinClients will allow you to work with server based applications (SBC) as well as to run local, native applications.
